JENNINGS Graveside services for Wilma Katherine McClelland, 80, will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2008 in Greenwood Cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Rev. Lisa Turnbull will officiate. Miss McClelland died at 12:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 in the Rehabilitation Hospital of Jennings. Miss McClelland was a native of Crowley and a resident of Lafayette for over 50 years. She was a graduate of the Jennings High School, class of 1945 and was a graduate of LSU. Miss McClelland was an avid golfer and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors: (1) Sister: Mrs. Curtis (Gloria) Welch-Jennings (1) Brother: John McClelland, Jr.-Casper, Wy Niece: Diana Welch Nelson and husband David-Spring, TX Nephews: Douglas Welch and wife Rose Mary-Hathaway; John Jay McClelland-Casper, WY Preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Nora Clark McClelland. Pallbearers will be great-nieces: Caitlin P. Nelson, Ashley S. Welch, Ali L. Welch, Abigail R. Welch. Honorary pallbearer will be Madison R. Welch.
