Wilfred Delma Suire, aged 81, of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2026.
Born on October 14, 1945, in Jennings, Louisiana, Wilfred was a beloved brother, uncle, and cherished friend to many. A man of few words, Wilfred's quiet demeanor was a testament to his warm and kind spirit. He dedicated his professional life to serving as a Security Officer for many years embodying a steadfast commitment to the safety and well-being of his community. He will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty and love for those he held dear.
Wilfred found immense joy in spending time with family, particularly enjoying local cook-offs with his nephew and visits to the casino. His greatest passion, however, lay in fishing. He often found solace by casting a line at his favorite fishing spots, where he created countless memories that will forever resonate with his loved ones. Though he may have cast his last line, the memories he created will continue to reel us in for years to come.
Wilfred is survived by his sister, Lucille Suire and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be profoundly missed but will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Wilfred was preceded in death by his parents, Delma Suire and Adia Bourque Suire; and his siblings, Hilda Miller, Lucy Faulk, Ruby Nunez, Betty Guidry, Mary Stelly, Wilson Suire, Obra Suire and Freddie Suire.
In remembrance of Wilfred Suire, let us cherish the moments we shared and the love he gave so freely. May he rest in peace.
