Jennings
Funeral services for Mr. Wilfred Royer, 89, of Jennings will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mr. Royer will begin on Friday morning, September 25, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. and continue until time of service.
Mr. Royer was a lifelong resident of Jennings and worked as an equipment operator. He enjoyed buying, improving and selling property. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Joyce Ann Moss and Laura Jane Monceaux; a son, Lonnie Wayne Benoit; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Leotine Hanks Royer; his granddaughter, Jamie Moss and ten brothers and sisters.
