Funeral services for Mr. Wilfred Mallett, Sr., 68 will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2:00p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Visitation hours on Sunday, April 3, 2016 will be from 2:30p.m. until 9:00p.m. Monday visitation will be from 8:00a.m until the time of service.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2016.

Mr. Mallett died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 9:00a.m. at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was a native and lifelong resident of the Lake Arthur/Welsh area. Mr. Mallett loved to hunt, fish, gardening, mowing the lawn and spending time with his family.

Mr. Mallett is survived by his wife; Nola Mallett of Lake Arthur, LA, one son; Wilfred Mallett, Jr. of Lake Arthur, LA, one daughter; Rachel Marcantel of Sugartown,LA and a brother Randy (Delma) Mallett of Lake Arthur, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Eugene and Rose Trahan Mallett, one son; Robert Mallett and one sister, Lena Guidry.
