Violet Lou Cahn

Jennings Mrs. Violet Lou Cahn, 83 died Friday, February 24, 2012 at 2:30 a.m. in the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home. Her wishes were to be cremated. She was born in Salem, Ohio and moved to Jennings from California in 2004. She was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Mrs. Cahn taught Kindergarten for the Marine Corp at Camp Pendleton, CA. She traveled twice around the world and was very knowledgeable in history. Mrs. Cahan is survived by a special son and daughter-in-law; Wayne and Debbie Guillory of Jennings, and a sister; Margie Rubich of Salem, Ohio and a sister-in-law; Helen Rubich of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Arthur Cahn, and her parents, Louis John Rubich and Catherine Nuzum Rubich.
