Vernice Prather

Funeral services for Miss Vernice Prather will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Platt officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service.

Miss Prather died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in a local care facility.

Miss Prather worked as a telephone operator for many years.  She was a faithful member of the Jennings Church of Christ where she served as a Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her two sisters, Ethel Prather Gunnells and Aline Prather; brother Harry Prather and many, many nieces and nephews.
