Mr. Vern Fredrick Reuther, Sr., 85, passed away peacefully in the Southwest Louisiana Veterans’ Home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 5:50 a.m.

The family has chosen to honor Mr. Reuther’s wishes of cremation.

Mr. Reuther proudly served his country in the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was a high school graduate and truck driver in the construction industry.

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Reuther and Lori Reuther, both of Bay City, MI; son, Daniel Reuther of Church Point, LA; two grandchildren and his brothers Theodore, Donald and Robert Reuther.

Mr. Reuther is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore, and Julia Vallo Reuther; his son, Vern Frederick Reuther, Jr; two brothers and one sister.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
