Todd Alvin Gary

Todd Alvin Gary, 56, of Jennings departed this earthly life on 06/25/2026, at his residence in Jennings, LA.

Todd was born in Crowley, LA to the late Nolan and Anna Gary on August 24, 1969. He attended Jennings High School and graduated in 1987. For two decades he worked in the oilfield industry and later worked within municipalities of the City of Jennings serving at times as a volunteer firefighter in his younger years. Todd enjoyed tinkering with projects and spending time with his dog, Gruff.

Todd was married to Julia Cormier of Lake Arthur, LA. Together they had one child; Kacie Gary of Lake Arthur who was undoubtedly his best friend. Although Todd and Julia were divorced, they remained good friends and co-parents to their daughter. Todd was also the father of Emma Gary and Joseph "Lil Joe" Gary of Jennings, LA, whom he shared with Rachel Kebodeaux of Jennings, LA.

Also left to remember Todd are his girlfriend Helena "Lena" Fontenot of Jennings, his brother Cedric (Liz) Gary of Jennings, two sisters, Andrea (Glenn) Stains of DeQuincy and Mary (Jon) Whitehouse of Jennings, three grandsons who he cherished Reese Gary and Brenyx "Lil Dootie" Gary of Lake Arthur and Hagan Fruge of Tee-Mamou as well as ten nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents Nolan and Anna Gary, his brother Cecil Gary, Sr., his beloved grandson Keaghyn "Lil Man" Ross, grandparents Arvelian and Doriska Gary, Joseph and Eula Mae Young as well as several infant siblings.

Cremation is under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
