JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia Lee Fontenot Moss, 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2011 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Pastor Carroll Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. Mrs. Moss died at 3:15 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Moss was a native of Crowley and a graduate of the Crowley High School. She was a resident of Jennings since 1977 moving here from Baton Rouge. She was a member of New Life Tabernacle Pentecostals of Jennings. Mrs. Moss enjoyed sewing and walking. Survivors include two sons; James Moss and wife Jerrie of Jennings, Ernest Moss and long-time girlfriend Vicki Fontenot of Jennings; two sisters, Margie Gatte of Evangeline, Melba LeDoux of Crowley; three brothers, Larry Fontenot of Edmondson, OK, Gene Fontenot of Leesville, Ernest Fontenot of Evangeline; six grandchildren, Chris Savant, Justin Deshotel, Blaze Moss, Victoria Moss, Ashley Fontenot, Hallie Fontenot; and three great-grandchildren, Aidan Savant, Haedyn Moss and Emma Moss. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Josephine Monceaux Fontenot; her husband, Henry Moss and one sister, Gloria Ertell.
