Memorial services for Mr. Steven Wayne Reichard, 19, will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Welsh Fire Hut with Rev. Alton Hodnett officiating.

Mr. Reichard died at 3:14 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

At the family’s request, Mr. Reichard’s body was cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

He was a lifelong resident of Welsh and worked as a carpenter’s helper.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Barbara Rails Reichard of Welsh; one sister, Mallory Reichard of Welsh; paternal grandparents, John and Lena Martin Fontenot of Welsh and Diana Gentry of Loomis, CA.
