Shirley Meche

Shirley Comeaux Meche 82, of Welsh, LA passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025.
A private graveside service was held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
She is survived by her daughters, Coeleen (Felix) Herrera, Nicole Meche; her son, Ross (Tiffany) Meche; grandchildren, Maegan (Kyle) Kern, Aubrie Boothe, Shaylin Meche, Bailey Sonnier; and two great granddaughters, Kylie and Blair Kern.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orvia "Sonny" Meche; and her parents, Elias and Alta Trahan Comeaux.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
