Shirlene Ruth Britt

Funeral services for Miss Shirlene Ruth Britt,79, of Jennings will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel at 12 Noon with Deacon Wayne Chapman officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Miss Britt will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service at 12 Noon.

Miss Britt was born on December 30, 1942, in Jennings, to parents Clarence and Rosa Koll Britt.  She was a homemaker who took great care of her father until his death. 

She will be sadly missed by those left behind, including a beloved sister, Norma “Toot” Broussard and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Beulah Mae Meche, Joyce Doherty, and Marguerite Britt; and two brothers, Eugene Britt, and Clarence Britt.
