Graveside services for Mrs. Sharlyn LeJeune, 76, will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. LeJeune passed away at 12:45 p.m. at her residence.

Mrs. LeJeune was born to John and Lucille Darby Bertrand on February 8, 1945, in New Iberia, LA. She married the love of her life, George Landry, on November 25, 1962.

Mrs. LeJeune loved cooking for her family, sewing, crocheting and baking.  She loved to be with her grandchildren and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George LeJeune; daughter, Lucy Boothe of Jennings; sons, Virgil, and John LeJeune, both of Jennings; sisters, Karen Navarre of Eunice and Letty McFarlin of Jennings and her six grandchildren, Daniel LeJeune, Megan Goodman, Eric LeJeune, Jared Michael Chapman, Starr Nicole Boothe Cavalier, Aimee Jewell Boothe and one great grandson, Aserial Oge Cavalier.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care and Johnnie and Denise Navarre for their exceptional care of Mrs. LeJeune.
