Samuel Lee Herndon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samuel "Sammy" Lee Herndon, born on August 24, 1965, in Elk City, Oklahoma. He left us on July 15, 2026, at the age of 60, in Jennings, Louisiana.

Sammy was a dedicated tool pusher in the oil industry and will be remembered for his hard work and commitment to his job. He was a family man at heart, cherished by his loved ones, including his sons, Trey (Lynzie) Herndon and Tannier Touchet, his mother, Jean Watford, his brother, Jimmy Mullican, and his grandchildren, Pierce, Gretchen, Adalyda, EmmyLou, Izabella and Addison.

A funeral service will be held at Miguez Funeral Home on July 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM. There will be a public viewing starting at 9:30 AM until the time of the service.

We invite everyone who knew Sammy to come and share their memories and support his family during this difficult time. He will be missed dearly.

Sammy was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Herndon; father, Lenuel Herndon; and numerous brothers and sisters.
