JENNINGS
Mr. Sam Batey, Jr., 68, of Lake Charles died at 9:10 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the Lake Charles Care Center.
His body was cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
Mr. Batey was a native of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma and a resident of Lake Charles. He worked as a deck hand in the oil industry.
Mr. Batey is survived by one daughter, Elise Gaspard of Lake Charles and one son, Eldon Gaspard.
