It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Gregory Miller, aged 79, on October 3, 2025.

Born on August 1, 1946, in Kinder, Louisiana, Ronald lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family and country. A proud retired Army veteran, he served for 22 years, achieving the highest score in his MOS. After his honorable service in the military, he enjoyed a successful career as a truck driver for over 30 years, traveling across all 50 states and amassing an impressive 4 million miles without an accident. Ronald was a true country music enthusiast, a passionate patriot, and cherished every moment creating lasting memories with his family.

Ronald was not only an accomplished professional, but he was also a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte Miller; children, Michael Miller, Scott Miller, Rhonda (Hedrick P. Deshotel, Jr.) Miller Deshotel, and Ladonna Miller. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Miller Rion; his cherished grandchildren, Gregory, Hedrick III, Madison (Hunter), Kylee (KJ), Mikey, MiKayla (Troy), Hayden and Alexis; great grandchildren, Alyvia, Huntli, Hudson and Hala; his godchild, Keegan Marcantel; and a host of extended family and friends who will continue to carry his legacy and memory.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Verlion and Mary Miller; and his brother, Carl Miller.

Ronald Gregory Miller will be dearly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Word Ministries Church in Eunice, LA, on Monday October 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service to honor his life will be held at 7:00 PM, with Bishop Caleb Semien officiating.

Cremation has been taken place under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings, LA.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Heart of hospice, especially Tracie Klumpp, for their heart felt dedication and love they have given Ronald.
