Roman St Germain-Simien

Roman St Germain-Simien, our beloved baby boy, passed away peacefully in his mother's arms, at the tender age of six months on April 24, 2026. Born on September 30, 2025, in Jennings, Louisiana, Roman brought immense joy and warmth to the lives of all who knew him. His laughter and smiles were constant reminders of the innocence and love present in the world. Though his time with us was brief, the light he shared will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.

Roman is survived by his parents, Jazmine St Germain and Johnathan Simien; brother, Elijah St Germain; grandparents, Roxane and Dustin Daigle; great grandparents, Ed Oldfield; and Cindy and Leo Mallett; aunts and uncles, Jenna, Tyler, Nevaeh, Gage, TJ, and Miley.

Their hearts will always hold a special place for their precious son, whose spirit will continue to inspire love and happiness.

Funeral services for Roman will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, on Tuesday April 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service. A rosary will take place at 1:30 PM, allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance and prayer. Roman will be laid to rest following the services in St. Anthony Cemetery.

In this time of sadness, we remember Roman for the joy he brought into our lives, the love he inspired, and the precious memories we will hold close forever. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Welcoming him into heaven are his Great Grandmother, Charlotte Oldfield; Great Great Grandparents, Clara and Charles Shoemake; and Aunt Cassandra Ard.
