Robert Lonnie Butter

Robert Lonnie Butter, 63, of Sulphur, LA passed away at Harbor Hospice on Tuesday December 1, 2020.   

Robert was born on July 28, 1957 to Herman and Imogene Butter in Arcadia, CA

He enjoyed watching wrestling, football, and bowling. He also loved watching Days of our Lives. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, one sister, Aquilla Young of Sulphur, LA; two brothers, Lionel Butter, Jr. of Ragley, Larry Butter, Sr. and wife Naomie of Nederland, TX. Several nieces, nephews and friends. 

He is preceded in death by one sister, Vicky Dartez and his parents, Herman Butter, Sr. and Imogene Mouhot. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at First Baptist of Gillis. Visitation will begin from 10:30 AM until time of service with Lunch following services at the Church on Saturday. Burial of Mr. Robert’s cremated remains will be buried at Butter Family Cemetery at 3:00 PM following his memorial service.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.

The family would like to express their heart felt appreciation for the care that was given to Robert from Harbor Hospice staff and nurses.
