Rhonda Gail David

Rhonda Gail David, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, at the age of 61, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 18, 1964, in Gueydan, Louisiana.

Rhonda was known for her caring spirit and nurturing nature. A dedicated homemaker, she poured her love into her home, where she created a warm and welcoming environment for her family. Rhonda shared countless hours in the garden with her beloved husband, Michael. Together, they cultivated a beautiful landscape that mirrored the love they shared. She also found joy in crocheting. Her hands crafted not just beautiful pieces of art but also warmth and comfort for those she loved.

Rhonda survived by her beloved husband, Michael Kratzer; daughters, Misti Klumpp, Terra (Shawn) Matthews, and Jenna Sonnier; sister, Cathy (Kent) Mansfield; brother, Kevin (Cherry) David; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving and compassionate person who touched the lives of everyone around her.

Rhonda Gail David will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Andrus David and Mary Leger David.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home. Her family is planning a memorial to be held at a later date.
