Funeral services for Rev. Gloria Ann Duval Sexton, 86, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Austin Spell officiating.

Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Rev. Sexton died at 4:00 p.m. in the Jeff Davis Living Center.

Rev. Sexton was a lifelong resident of Jennings. She loved sewing, crocheting, reading, knitting, and shrimping with her husband.  She was an ordained minister of the Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband Rev. Joseph Roy Sexton; four daughters, Angela (Roger) Mier of Welsh, Melanie (Ray) Fontenot, Roilyn (Darrell) Self, Gloria (Joseph Smith) all of Jennings; two sons, Felix “Bert” (Bernadette) Sexton, Sr. of Leesville, Granville (Ruby Cormier) Sexton of Lake Arthur; one sister, Wanda Gaspard of Crowley; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Bernice Arbaugh Duval; three brothers, Nolan, Hal, Golan Dale Duval and one grandson Jayce Ryan Dupuis.
