Raymond Darrell Baltoff

November 26, 1944 — January 29, 2026

Raymond Baltoff, a devoted husband, proud serviceman, and gentle soul, passed away leaving behind a life rich in love, service, and simple joys.

Raymond dedicated his life to serving his country in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty, strength, and honor. His years of service shaped the man he was-steadfast, dependable, and quietly courageous.

Though he once called Virginia home, Raymond spent the last 25 years of his life in Louisiana, where he built a beautiful life alongside the love of his life, his wife Marion. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, companionship, and shared laughter, and Marion remained his greatest joy. Through his marriage, Raymond became an instant father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to a family that surrounded him with love and laughter-and he loved them just as deeply in return.

Raymond found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, where patience and peace met the rhythm of the water. He enjoyed cooking, sharing meals that brought people together. And perhaps his favorite pastime of all was napping in the warmth of the sun, content and at ease, with its gentle glow on his face-a perfect reflection of his calm and appreciative spirit.

Those who knew Raymond will remember his quiet presence, his warmth, and his ability to find joy in the everyday moments. He lived a life of service, love, and gratitude, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Raymond Baltoff will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Cremation has been entrusted under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Raymond was laid to rest in the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
