Perry Joseph Legros

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Perry Joseph LeGros, 75, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Emanuel Tanu officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm, today, Tuesday; and 8:00 am Wednesday until time of services. A rosary led by Marion Hanks will be recited at 7:00 pm today, Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. LeGros died at 9:30 pm, Sunday, January 20, 2013 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. LeGros was a lifelong resident of Jennings. He was of the Catholic faith. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include one daughter, Ramona (Ronald) Quebedeaux of Jennings; three sons, Jerry (Debbie) LeGros of Scott LA, Roland (Roxanne) LeGros and Calvin LeGros of Jennings; two sisters, Corinna Dugas of Lake Arthur, Yvonne Myers of Jennings; two brothers, Jimmie LeGros, Sr. of Jennings, Placide LeGros Jr. of Jennings; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Placide and Lorance Martin LeGros, his wife, Martha LeGros, a sister, Leona Roy, and three brothers, Percy LeGros, Oneal LeGros, and Wilbert LeGros. Pallbearers will be Jerry LeGros, Roland LeGros, Calvin LeGros, Lucas LeGros, Rory Quebedeaux, Ronnie Quebedeaux and Kevin LeGros. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin LeGros, Jr., Kenndall LeGros, Bryce LeGros, Ryan Quebedeaux, Troy Quebedeaux and Five Palfrey.
