Peggy Joy Sellers, 85 of Lake Arthur passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in a local nursing home.

Miss Sellers was born in Lake Arthur on October 2, 1935, to parents, Otis, and Thelma James Aguillard.  She graduated from high school and went to work as a clerk in retail sales.

Those left behind to treasure her memory are two daughters, Deborah Schlesinger of Greenville, SC, and Pamelia Turner of Jennings; a son, David Sellers of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Patty Fontenot and Pris Bihm of Lake Arthur and Rosemond Seymour of Roanoke; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings, LA.
