Memorial services for Mrs. Peggy Jean Duplechian, 70 will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 10:00 A. M. at the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Babasino Ferandes officiating.

Mrs. Duplechian’s wishes were to be cremated.

Funeral home visitation hours on Tuesday will be from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary being recited at 6 P.M. Visitation on Wednesday will be from 8:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Mrs. Duplechian was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed visiting with people.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Leger of Hayes, LA, eight sons; Mike, James(Boo), Will and Billy Duplechian all of Lake Arthur,  Wilbert and Richard Duplechian of Iowa, LA, Leon Duplechian Jr. of Jennings and Rusty Duplechian of Gueydan, LA, a sister; Hermae Nordyke of Vidor, TX, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Duplechian was preceded in death by her parents, Edier and Enola Broussard Touchet and her husband, Leon Duplechian, Sr.
