Patsy Crochet

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Guidry Crochet, 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of services. Mrs. Crochet died Sunday, September 20, 2015. Mrs. Crochet was a native of Orange, Texas and a resident of Jennings most of her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed drinking coffee with her family and friends on her back porch. She loved cleaning house and was a devoted mother to her children. Survivors include her husband, Donald Crochet of Jennings; five daughters, Magusta Lynn Crochet Aucoin and husband Clement, Tammy Fontenot and husband Roy, Lillie Fontenot, Valine Crochet all of Jennings, Michelle Crochet and husband Russell of Iowa, LA; three sons, Charles Reed and wife Wendy, Lee Fontenot both of Jennings, and Carbert Fontenot and wife Jennifer of Russia, OH; three brothers, Allen Guidry and wife Wilma, Claude Guidry and Ronnie Guidry all of Jennings; one sister, Elaine Guidry and husband John Miller of Klondike; twenty three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Crochet is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Nora Guidry; four sisters, Rita Boyle, Emily Bouley, Lacey Guidry, Theresa Guidry; and one brother, Rayford Guidry.
