Mr. Owen Peter Istre, 64 of Mermentau passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Jennings American Legion Hospital in Jennings.
He was born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana on October 14, 1954. Mr. Istre was a delivery driver.
He is survived by his children Jennifer Sneed of Magnolia, Texas; Lindsey Istre of Houston, Texas and Ferdi Joseph Istre of Houston, Texas and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdi Istre and Evelyn Boggs Istre.
Mr. Istre will be cremated as wished.
