Nolan Ray Guidry

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Nolan Guidry, 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. Mr. Guidry died at 8:50 a.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the Lake Charles Care Center. Mr. Guidry was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a retired laborer for a tree service. Survivors include one daughter, Shantell Young of Muskogee, OK; four sons, Hilton Guidry of Andrus Cove, Chris Guidry of Jennings, Leonard Guidry of Andrus Cove, Velmone Guidry of Welsh, step-son, Ray Thibodeaux of Morse; one brother, Cleveland Guidry of Jennings and six grandchildren. Mr. Guidry is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mary Lena LeBert Guidry; one sister Margie Guidry; and one brother, Luther Guidry.
