A memorial service for Mrs. Nancy Watkins Johnson, 75, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church with Reverend Alan Trouille officiating.

Mrs. Johnson’s wishes where to be cremated.

Mrs. Johnson died at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Welsh.

Survivors include one daughter, Claire Angelle and husband Chris of Jennings; three sons, Paul Johnson and wife Jessalyn and Jim Johnson and wife Jane all of Welsh, Patrick Johnson and wife Stacy of Prairieville; two sisters, Margaret Granger of Baton Rouge and Elizabeth Fruge of Welsh; two brothers, Phil Watkins of Welsh and Dr. Wayne Watkins of Alexandria; and 14 grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ruby Kimball Watkins; her husband, Richard Johnson; two daughters, Laurie and Amy Johnson; a sister, Jane Watkins and a brother, Johnny Watkins.

A private burial will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.
