In his professional life, Michael worked as a switch operator in the railroad industry, a job that he took great pride in. He possessed profound knowledge, deep wisdom and devout reverence, with an astute sense of wittiness. A true lover of life, you could often find him enjoying good times at Cest Bon or cooking up a storm in the kitchen, always sharing meals with family and friends. He was also a fervent LSU fan, cheering for his team with enthusiasm. He loved the Lord and served him faithfully but most of all, he cherished his family especially his grandchildren which brought such joy to his life.
