Cameilla Everly LeJeune

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Cameilla Everly LeJeune, who left this world too soon on August 22, 2026, at the tender age of two. Born on November 28, 2023, in Sulphur, Louisiana, Cameilla brought boundless joy and laughter to her family and all those who knew her.

Despite her challenges, Meilla was a vibrant spirit who filled each day with laughter and play. She cherished her time spent at the park, enjoyed swimming, and loved expressing her creativity with coloring and stickers. She loved playing with her toys and enjoying laughing all the time. Her infectious smile and strength in the face of adversity inspired everyone around her, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of her family and friends.

Meilla is survived by her loving parents, Amber Garza and Raymond LeJeune; siblings, Nekayla Garza, Joredin Garza and Marcellus LeJeune; grandparents, Cynthia Cormier, Naomie Ellis, Donald Lawrence, Luis Garza, Jr.; aunts, Wanda Burlet (Nanny), Hailee Garza, Jessicca Matthews, and Joseph Cormier; uncles, Michael Burlet, Toby, Charles Taylor, Mark Garza; and Abel Garza; and a hsot of extended family and friends that will cherish their memories of her. She leaves behind a legacy of joy and resilience that will be forever remembered.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday August 28, 2026, at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, LA, from 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the same day at 2:00 PM with Father Anil Alexander officiating. She will be laid to rest in Bertrand Cemetery.

Meilla was a bright light who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. May her spirit continue to inspire love and laughter in our hearts.
