Maurice Cormier, Jr.

JENNINGS

Memorial visitation for Mr. Maurice Cormier, Jr., 82, will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel.

Mr. Cormier died at 9:29 a.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Mr. Cormier was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a a bookkeeper for the Jennings Clerk of Courts office. He loved hunting and messing with guns and he also enjoyed reading.

Survivors include one sister, Rebecca Cormier Landry of Jennings; one brother, Ronald Cormier and wife Florence of Mermentau; nieces Laura Lakatos and Kim (Bret) LaBauve; nephews Martin Cormier, Keith Cormier, Tyler LaBauve and Austin LaBauve.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Laura Simon Cormier, Sr.
