It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Alice Dupuis, age 77, who departed this life peacefully on July 28, 2025. She was born on April 19, 1948, in Jennings, Louisiana, and led a life filled with love, compassion, and kindness.
Mary dedicated her life to helping others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, leaving an indelible mark on the many lives she touched throughout her years in healthcare. She was known not just for her professional commitment, but for her nurturing spirit and caring heart.
When not caring for others, Mary cherished the simple pleasures of life. An avid lover of the outdoors, she found joy in feeding the birds and squirrels that frequented her yard. In her quieter moments, she delighted in making quilts, pouring her creativity and affection into each stitch. Above all, Mary treasured her time with family, finding immense joy in the laughter and love shared with her sons and beloved grandchildren.
Mary Alice leaves behind her two devoted sons, Cody (Lisa Goddard) Dupuis and Travis (Misti) Dupuis; well as her cherished granddaughter, Kaitlyn (Chase) Abshire. She is also survived by her step children, Rachael (Neyland) Matthews and Winston "Bubba" (Renea) Dupuis, and step granddaughters, Jordan Lapointe and Morgan (Waylon) Hebert;; her loving sisters, Sandra (Mitchell) Conner, Gloria Guidry, and Roberta (Belvon) Hebert; and numerous great grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Mary lived a beautiful life filled with love for her family and kindness towards everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
