Marshall Wayne Brisco, a beloved husband, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on November 11, 1962, in Hallettsville, Texas, Marshall made his home in Jennings, Louisiana, the past 28 years.
Marshall was a dedicated production operator in the oil and gas industry, proudly spending 38 years working for Exxon Mobil before retiring. Outside of work, he cherished time spent with family, whether it was hunting on the deer lease or simply enjoying good music and great company. His warm spirit and love for life touched everyone he met, and he will be greatly missed.
Marshall is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Myra Brisco; his brothers, Travis (Mary) Brisco and Russell (Kristine) Brisco; his granddaughter, Riley Trahan; uncle, Randy "Charlie" Hartman; aunt, Cathy Berkenhoff; his nieces, Madison (Dustin) Courts, Morgan (Clayton) Barbay, and Jaycie Brisco; and his nephew, Jaxson Brisco.
Marshall's legacy will live on through the love he shared and the memories he created. Rest in peace Marshall.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon Brisco, Brenda "Susie" Berkenhoff Brisco; and his uncle, Gus Berkenhoff.
Cremation is under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
