Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mr. Mark Wilbert Broussard, 43 will be held on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Funeral home visitation today, Thursday, December 1, 2011 will be from 2:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friday visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Mr. Broussard died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 at 7:07 a.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. He was a native of Jennings and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was employed by Lowes as a retail sales clerk. Mr. Broussard is survived by two daughters; Mariah and Madison Broussard of Lake Arthur, a son; Seth Broussard of Lake Arthur, his parents; Ida Belle and Wilbert Broussard of Lake Arthur, a sister; Rhonda Broussard of Lafayette, a godchild; Nicholas Broussard of Lafayette; and his companion Paula Trahan of Welsh.
