Mark Wayne Guidry, 63, beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away on September 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 6, 1961, in Lake Arthur, Mark was the son of Alvin and Della Marceaux Guidry.

Mark, who worked as a Supervisor in the Oil and Gas industry at CHI, was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with his family, especially his grandkids. He loved riding his Harley, going to church, and making memories with his loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Betty Jo Guidry, parents, Alvin and Della Guidry, his children Courtney (Harold) Duhon, Cody (Nicki) Guidry, Kelsey (Modesto Guerrero) Guidry, and Kiley (Joel Roche) Guidry, as well as his siblings Anthony (Rhonda LeBleu) Guidry, Glen Guidry, Sr., and Leslie (Andy) Jeanise and his mother in law, Melba Broussard. He also leaves behind his cherished grandkids Chloey, Chyler, Sienna, Noah, Adeline, and Ella, who meant the world to him.

Mark was preceded in death by his brother Carlton Guidry.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Mark's life will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, with a Public Viewing starting at 10:00 am. The burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur. Mark's final resting place will be a testament to the love and memories he shared with his family. May he rest in peace.
