Lisa Rene Richard

Lisa Rene Richard, 60, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and cherished memories.

Lisa was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the way she made those around her feel seen and valued. She carried herself with quiet strength and compassion, touching the lives of family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

For the past 17 years, Lisa proudly served as the Assistant Manager at Black Gold Casino, where she built lasting relationships and was respected for her dedication, kindness, and strong work ethic.

She had a special passion for scrapbooking and making greeting cards, thoughtfully creating keepsakes that captured memories and brought joy to others. Lisa also deeply loved her dogs, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship in her life. She was also a devoted fan of Elvis, whose music brought her joy and was a special part of her life.

Throughout her life, Lisa found happiness in the simple moments-time spent with loved ones, laughter shared among friends, and expressing her creativity in meaningful ways. She will be remembered for her caring nature, her creativity, and the love she gave so freely.

Lisa is survived by her partner of 26 years, Donnie Winton; her mother, Hilda Benoit Richard; her sister, Paula Richard; her brother, Kevin Richard and his wife, Kimberly Richard; her nieces, Laken Richard and Lauryn Richard; her nephew, Cameron Richard and his partner, Keith Olivier; and her great-nieces, Abigail Michele and Scarlett Richard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Davis "T-Mac" Richard; her niece, Lyllie Grace Richard; her paternal grandparents, Adam and Lyllie Richard; and her maternal grandparents, Ogden and Irene Benoit, and her fur babies Tootie and Kodi.

Lisa’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains a guiding light to all who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Graveside inurnment services will be held on Monday March 23, 2026, at 2 PM, at the Greenwood Cemetery committal shelter in Jennings, LA, with Brother Brian Wells officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
