Leslie William Guidry

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Leslie William Guidry, 66, of Mermentau, LA, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Born on July 14, 1960, in Jennings, Louisiana, Leslie lived a life full of passion, dedication, and kindness. He departed this world peacefully on September 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and love.

A public visitation will be held at Miguez Funeral Home on Sunday September 13, 2026, starting at 3:30 PM until 8:00 PM. A rosary will be recited that same evening at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Monday September 14, 2026, from 8:00 AM until the time to depart for mass at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Evangelist at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery.

Leslie was a hardworking man who spent many years as an operator in the construction industry. He was known for his tireless work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. When he wasn't working, he could often be found cruising on his beloved motorcycle, enjoying the open roads and the thrill of freedom. Leslie had a zest for life that extended to his hobbies-he was an avid drag racing enthusiast and loved spending his time fishing. A man of faith, Leslie embodied the values of kindness and compassion. He will be remembered not only for his strength and resilience but also for the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Terrell Guidry; his son, Zeb (Megan) LaCombe; his grandchildren, Brodie, Liam, Londyn, and Adalyn; and his many brothers and sisters, including Sylvia (Kirby) Boudreaux, Sharon (Rusty) Broussard, Elaine (Ricky) Thibodeaux, Pamela (Marcus) Leleaux, Becky (Terry) Ruddell, Harold (Betty) Guidry, Roger (Brenda) Guidry, Carroll (Linda) Guidry, Jack (Deborah) Guidry and Jessie (Margie) Guidry, Jr. He also leaves behind his fur babies, Buddy and Leeroy.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Guidry and Eumaia Cormier Guidry; son, Tyne Guidry, and brothers, Melvin Guidry, Sr., Roland Guidry and Jessie Guidry.

We encourage all who knew Leslie to come and share stories, laughter, and love in remembrance of this remarkable man. He will be sorely missed but forever cherished in our hearts.

Serving Mr. Leslie as pallbearers will be: Phillip Richard, Ronnie Langlinais, Bobby Guidry, Caleb Guidry, Josh Boudreaux and Mark Bertrand. Honorary pallbearers will be: Brody LaCombe, Liam Myers and Grayson Bertrand.
