Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Mae Blanchard, 83, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.

Burial will be in the Sensat Cemetery in Egan.

Funeral home visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.

Mrs. Blanchard died at 1:17 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2016 in the Acadia General Hospital.

Mrs. Blanchard was a native of Estherwood and a resident of Egan since 1975 moving there from Iowa, LA. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Egan.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Wallace Blanchard of Egan; one son, James Moss and wife Joyce of Jennings; two sisters, Leora LeJeune of Crowley, and Thelma Istre of Estherwood; one brother Gene LeJeune of Kokomo, Indiana; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge and Alix Myers LeJeune.
