LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Kirby Steven Broussard, 59, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2011 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Celina Wilson officiating. Burial was in Shell Beach Cemetery. Funeral home visitation was from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. Mr. Broussard died at 5:59 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 in the John Sealy Hospital, Galveston, Texas. Mr. Broussard was a lifelong resident of Baytown, Texas; graduated from the Sterling High School class of 1969 and was a manager in the oil and gas industry. Survivors include his wife Cathy Medders Broussard of Baytown; two daughters, Betsy Broussard and Michelle Smith both of Baytown; his mother, Mildred Weekley Broussard of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Ramona Ann Broussard and Kristi Broussard Fontenot both of Lake Arthur; one brother, Tony Broussard of Anahuac, TX; and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Broussard, sister, Geraldine Broussard; two brothers, Dale and Kenny Broussard.
