Kevin Warren Seagraves

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Warren Seagraves, who left us on February 15, 2026, at the age of 65. Kevin was born on February 4, 1961, in Jennings, LA, and he spent his life surrounded by family and friends in the community he cherished.

Kevin, a proud graduate of Jennings High School, later attended Louisiana Tech, where he pursued his passion for electrical work where he worked for Jeff Davis Electric Co-op for 34 years. He worked hard and rose to the position of Supervisor, earning the respect and admiration of those around him. Beyond his professional life, Kevin was a devoted sports enthusiast, passionately supporting Jennings teams, as well as LSU and the New Orleans Football teams.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Janet Seagraves, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He was a proud father to his daughter, Ashley (Gregory) Garcia, and son, Joseph (Britney Williams) Seagraves. His legacy continues with his cherished grandchildren: Miguel, Selena, Manolo, and Liliana Garcia. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings: sisters Cynthia (Joey) Daigre, Rene' (Anthony) Trauth, Kara (Darrell) Whitehouse; brothers Kip Seagraves, Russell (Mary) Sonnier, Jr., Byron Sonnier, John (Connie) Sonnier, Troy (Shelly) Sonnier; and his sister-in-law, Renell Sonnier.

Kevin was an active member of the First Baptist Church, where he found community and connection that enriched his life.

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church Jennings on February 20, 2026, at 11:00 am. Before the service, there will be a public viewing at the church starting at 8:30 am. Additionally, family and friends can pay their respects at Miguez Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. After the service on February 20, he will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Kevin was preceded in death by: His father, Howard Seagraves, his mother and step father, Joella Mohar and Russell Sonnier, and his brother, Ronnie Sonnier.
