Funeral services for Karl David Daigle, Sr., 70, of Jennings, LA, will be held on Monday January 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, with Father Keith Pellerin officiating. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral home.

A visitation will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings on Sunday January 21, 2024, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday until the time to depart for church at 9:30 a.m.

Karl was born on August 29, 1953, in Jennings, Louisiana, to Albert Daigle AND Deola Pousson Daigle. Karl was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important — the simplicity of living a life with those you love. He was very generous and had a big heart. He loved music, the Saints, LSU, and the Jennings Bulldogs. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather who would have done anything for his family.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Karl David Daigle, Jr., and Dylan Higginbotham; daughters, Davina Brown, and Tamara (Matt) Scheidt; sisters, Brenda Fuselier, Diana Benoit, and Carol Compton; brothers, Wayne Daigle, Donnie Daigle, Ricky Daigle, Kurt Daigle, and Larry Daigle; four grandchildren; and a host of extended family and lifelong friends.

He is now rejoicing in heaven with his parents, and a son, Chase Daigle.
