Julie Ingalls

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday November 21, 2025, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, LA, beginning at 2:00 PM, with Father Whitney Miller officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a rosary in the church at 1:15 PM, which will lead into the funeral mass. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery in Jennings, LA, under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Julie Boudreaux Ingalls, 73, of Maineville, OH, died November 2, 2025 in her residence. 

Mrs. Ingalls was born on June 10, 1952 in New Iberia, LA to Elward Boudreaux and Yvonne (nee Rogers) Boudreaux Tibbadeaux Clay. Siblings, Frances White, Bethel Breaux, Timothy Boudreaux, Douglas Boudreaux, Matthew Boudreaux, Monique Brewster, Rochelle Sittig. 

Julie was a graduate of Jennings High School Class of 1970. She graduated from USL with a degree in Speech Pathology, and after discovering her passion for low vision, went on to receive a master's degree in Visually Impaired. She taught VI students for over 20 years. Julie was married to Richard Dale Ingalls. 

She is survived by their three children, Richard Seth Ingalls of Fairview Heights, IL, Kristen Ingalls and husband Michael Poast of Cincinnati, OH, and Kathleen Ingalls and husband Clark Reed of Hobbs, NM; grandchildren, Griffin, Olivia, and Madeline Poast, Greta Warnke, and Alexander Reed. Julie was affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Juju”. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Timothy. Julie will be remembered for her strong faith as a devout Catholic.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers for her deep love and support for veterans.
