Judy Ann Conner, devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Lake Arthur community, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025. Born on January 6, 1947, in Jennings, Louisiana, Judy lived a life filled with love, devotion, and service to others.
Judy dedicated many years to her faith as a longtime member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, where she proudly served in numerous roles, exemplifying her deep commitment to her parish and community. She was a Religious ED teacher for over 21 years, CCD Coordinator for six years, Eucharistic Minister and Lector at OLOL for six years, and Adoration Chapel Coordinator for five years. Her industrious nature and caring spirit left a lasting impact on her community. In her leisure time, Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting the casino, where she embraced the thrill of the game and shared laughter with friends and family.
Judy found joy in spending time with her family, including her children, Carla (Reggie) Young, Connie (Bennett) Schexnider, and Will (Emily) Trahan; along with her beloved nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, who will all remember her warmth, kindness, and the countless cherished memories shared together.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during public viewing at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday November 25, 2025. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel.
A Mass celebrating her life will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on November 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Judy Ann Conner's legacy of love and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Michael "Mike" Conner, her first husband, Dudley Trahan, Jr.; parents, Dalton Primeaux and Ruby Primeaux, son, Carl Trahan; and siblings, Betty Duhon and Larry Primeaux.
Pallbearers will be WIll Trahan, Andrew Trahan, Bennett Schexnider, Jeremy Villemarette, Joey Villemarette and Pablo Gonzalez Villemarette. Honorary pallbearer will be CJ Villemarette.
