Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Doherty, 86, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Koopman officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. today, Friday; and 8:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Mrs. Doherty died at 2:00 a.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Doherty was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a graduate of the Jennings High School. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include three sisters, Norma Broussard, Beulah Meche and Shirlene Britt all of Jennings; and one brother, Clarence Britt of Jennings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Rosa Koll Britt; her husband, Dallas Doherty; one sister, Marguirite Britt and one brother, Eugene “Buddy” Britt.
