Josie Ardoin

With a heavy heart, we want to announce the arrangements for our mother Josie Deanie Bertrand Ardoin. She was born on December 13, 1940, in Lafayette, Louisiana to Clyde and Ida Clement Bertrand from Elton. Deanie was called back to the Lord on January 25, 2025.

Deanie was preceded in death by her son; Butch Ardoin, her husband; Thomas Ardoin, parents; two sisters; Juanita Tate and lona Minton; two brothers Brud Bertrand and her twin brother Jo.

On Saturday March 29, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors at 10am KC's will recite a rosary immediately after the rosary, a Catholic mass will be held.

Left a cherish her memories or her daughters; Leisa and Karen Ardoin, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Mom was a fantastic seamstress and home maker. She enjoyed being a beautician for family and friends and a volunteer at the nursing home beauty shop for many years.
