Joshua Guidry

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Blake Guidry, on September 22, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1984, in Jennings, Louisiana. 

Joshua grew up with a passion for sports, playing both baseball and football in his earlier years. He found joy in the great outdoors, often spending time hunting and fishing-activities that brought him closer to nature and to his family. Joshua's love for his family was evident in all he did, and he relished the moments spent with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his father, Tim (Jena) Guidry; his mother, Michelle (Jeff) Rossi; his children, Riley LeJeune and Easton Guidry; his brother, Timothy Guidry; and his sisters, Hali Fournerat and Alexis Guidry. He also leaves behind his step siblings, Kristin Ardoin, Devan Gary, and Morgan Ardoin; along with cherished nieces and nephews, including Jon Fournerat, Hadley Fournerat, and Olivia Miller; Paternal grandparents, Barabara and Guy Guidry; and maternal grandparents, Marie and Jon Romero.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, beginning on Wednesday September 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume the following day in the funeral home chapel from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Brother Brian Wells officiating. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

We invite all who knew and loved Joshua to come and celebrate his life, as we hold him close in our hearts and memories. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Joshua was preceded in death by his wife, Brandy Guidry; his stepbrother, Jerrod Blanchard; and his paternal great grandparents, Karine and John Folley.
