Joseph Trahan

Joseph Nathaniel Trahan, born on September 20, 1962, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 63. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, and dedication that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Joseph was known for his unwavering commitment to his family. As a truck driver for many years, he found joy on the open road, navigating the highways with a sense of freedom and purpose. In recent years, he transitioned to work as a security guard, exemplifying the same diligence and care in safeguarding others. Joseph had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, often finding solace in nature's beauty. He was hardworking, valuing every opportunity to provide for his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Trahan; his children, Joshua Trahan, Ashlynn Trahan and Bryson Trahan; his sister, Joy Barber, and sister, Tammy Coleman.

Joseph will be profoundly missed but will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness and spirit. In this time of loss, we hold onto the love and memories shared, cherishing the moments that made us feel connected to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Alex, Florence, Katy, and Hellen, his nephew, Julius; and his daughter, Amber Trahan.
