LAKE ARTHUR A memorial service for Mr. Johnny David, 70, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Msgr. Ronald Groth Officiating. Funeral home visitation will be from 12:00 noon Wednesday until time of service. Mr. David died Friday, August 1, 2014 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. David was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a retired rice and soybean farmer. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Carol Bourque David of Lake Arthur; two sons, Britt and Shane David of Lake Arthur; one sister, LeeAnn Kratzer of Roanoke, LA; one brother, Burton David of Lake Arthur, and 5 grandchildren. Mr. David is preceded in death by his parents, Percy David and Lillian Greenhaw, and two brothers, Ronald and Cecil David.
