John R. Legros

Graveside services for Mr. John Richard LeGros, 77, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the Andrus Cove Cemetery with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.

Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. LeGros passed away at 8:12 a.m., Thursday, December 19, 2019 in the Harbor House facility in Beaumont, TX.

He was a native of Jennings, resident of Beaumont 5 years moving there from Westlake, LA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era and was a retired welder in the shipyards.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Soileau of St. Landry, LA; son, Kevin LeGros of Westlake; three sisters, Nickie Bertrand of Lake Arthur, Matilda LaCombe and Emily Fabacher both of Iota; three brothers, Cyrus Seilhan of Baton Rouge, Douglas Seilhan and Abbie Seilhan both of Iota; his loving and faithful companion, Mary Gordon of Beaumont, TX and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Miller LeGros; stepfather, Isaac Seilhan and wife, Dianne Rogers LeGros; father-in-law, Wilson Rogers and mother-in-law, Allie Rogers; and granddaughter, Victoria LeGros.
