Jennifer Sonnier

Jennifer Ann Fruge Sonnier, 65, of Iowa passed away on March 24, 2023, in the Oschner American Legion Hospital in Jennings, Louisiana. 

She was born on November 9, 1957, to Clifford and Jane Courville Fruge.  Jennifer was a graduate of Eunice High School and lived in Eunice most of her life until moving to Iowa.  She was a devoted mother, and homemaker.  Her heart and soul went into to her family and she loved the time she spent with them.  She was loving and caring to everyone she met and will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Brian Sonnier of Iowa and Joshua Sonnier of Elton; a sister, Anna (Butch) Shelton of Mandeville; two brothers, Darrell and Lynn Fruge, both of Eunice; and a beautiful grandchild, Maddison Sonnier.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Keith, Marcus and Ray Fruge.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
